Overview
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and development of SingleFile’s sales team. Managing a team of 6–12 Account Executives and SDRs, you will ensure sales goals are achieved through strong coaching, performance oversight, and process consistency.
You will play a hands-on role in team development, pipeline health, training execution, and sales discipline — helping drive predictable revenue while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Head of Sales and working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure tight alignment with the overall go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of AEs and SDRs to meet and exceed quota.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, call coaching, and performance assessments.
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs to ensure ongoing development.
- Sales Execution & Accountability
- Drive consistent execution of the sales playbook, from outreach and discovery to negotiation and close.
- Ensure full pipeline coverage and accurate forecasting through disciplined CRM use and weekly reviews.
- Partner with Sales Ops to monitor KPIs and lead the team toward hitting activity and conversion metrics.
- Onboarding & Training
- Own the onboarding process for new sales hires, accelerating ramp-up and early productivity.
- Provide structured training on product knowledge, sales methodology, and objection handling.
- Create and maintain internal resources (scripts, battle cards, decks) in collaboration with Marketing.
- Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate closely with Marketing on lead quality, campaign feedback, and content needs.
- Provide feedback to Product and Customer Success on customer objections, market trends, and product gaps.
- Champion a tight handoff process from sales to post-sale delivery teams.
- Culture & Performance
- Build a high-performance, collaborative, and feedback-oriented sales culture.
- Recognize and reward excellence, while addressing underperformance with clarity and support.
- Serve as a role model in living SingleFile’s values and commitment to customer success.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with 2–3+ years in a team leadership or management role.
- Experience managing SDRs and AEs in a quota-carrying, fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Sandler, SPIN) and pipeline management.
- Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding team sales targets.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for leading people and creating a motivating, high-trust environment.
